Co-evolving with Animals: Graceful Endings and Beginnings

The African Queen is standing and waving a cloth. She is watching the procession of animals with her heart full. The graceful bodies of all shapes and sizes are moving away, like a great migration into the horizon. The African Queen is saying good-bye to the animals.

The African Queen is one of my guides in the spiritual world. Another name I have for the African Queen is the Lady of the Birds, as she is also deeply connected to the bird realm. Since April last year, she has shown me this scene of the animal departure several times. The message was clear in the procession of the animals with their backs turned towards us: they are moving away from humanity, this is an evolutionary split in our paths.

It was not an easy scene for me to watch. My initial reaction was “No, don’t go!” Then I came down on my knees weeping and asked the animals for their forgiveness, for the suffering they have endured as a result of human domination. As my tears fell, a female caribou with huge antlers appeared before me. She felt very close, her soft eyes emanated gentleness, peace, strength and wisdom. I realised I was in the presence of a great cosmic being, an overlighting deva of the collective animal soul. She spoke:

“The time has come for us to go in our own direction. We have supported humanity for so long. The tide of evolution is now turning, and our contract with Gaia is changing. We do this for our own protection and for the benefit of all life. Do not ask if you have failed us in some way. Please accept this new path that is opening.”

Animals have been great spiritual teachers and mentors to humanity. Last summer these cows on Mörko Island in Sweden telepathically communicated to me a key for accessing the inner dimensions of the place we were exploring with my geomancy friend Helle.

Upon hearing her words, I was overcome with a tremendous sense of gratitude and appreciation for all that the animals have done for humanity. The animals like us have cosmic origins and have been invited to Earth by Gaia Sophia. They are a more ancient evolution on Earth than us. They are highly evolved and aware star beings who have partnered with Gaia to incarnate upon Earth as a project of deep love and creativity. Their experience as animals upon Earth has given them much richness in their evolution. They operate through pure presence and connectivity to the flows of Earth. They gave us our bodies and showed the way to be embodied. As the ultimate act of life support, the souls of certain animal groups even allowed humans to eat them. They collaborated with the elemental world to nourish our bodies, develop our organs and build our cellular structures. Their generosity and service towards us has been endless.

I sensed their sadness at how humans have mistreated animals but there is resolve on their part to keep their hearts open towards us… as highly evolved beings they know that the best way to collaborate is through love. The soft eyes of the female caribou was intently gazing at me and she continued:

“We have reached the end of a long cycle. It is now time for us to bring back the treasures of our collective soul’s Earthly experiences to our star systems. Everything that we offered to Earth in deep love remains. What is grown in love remains eternally. So do not be sad. As cosmic co-creators, a part of us will always continue together. The archetypes of ours within deep Earth, they are here to assist you. In a way they are the love we have imprinted upon Earth. When you connect with our archetypal beings, you will be awakening our divine qualities within you. The archetypes are our gift to you and all the beings of Earth. When you connect with the animal archetypes, you will be awakening certain aspects of yourself and also supporting all the groups associated with that archetype, including the animals presently incarnated upon Earth.”

I then looked down at my own body and I saw sparkling animal shapes within me, the animal archetypes the female caribou was referring to. A gigantic bird flew before me, flapping its wings, strong and powerful. It was an eagle flying through vast space, both the Earthly sky and cosmic realm, two parallel dimensions at the same time. I realised this eagle was one of the animal archetypes emerging from deep Earth. As the animal soul moves away from co-evolving with humanity, there is a parallel movement of their archetypes (as love imprinted upon Earth) being unleashed by Gaia Sophia, representing the life which cannot be dominated and must be interconnected.

Animal Archetypes

Archetypes are primordial forces in the causal realm which form the basis of life at the manifest level. Animal archetypes represent the soul dimension of each animal group, which guides their identity, purpose and expression.

I found myself saying to the animals, “Thank you, thank you, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” I saw that the African Queen next to me also had tears flowing down her face, her heart deeply moved by the animals. I understood that the collective heart field of the animals is at present aligning closely with Gaia’s love sphere, helping manifest the emerging universe of embodied love being developed by Gaia. The collective soul of the animals are now working on this level of Gaia’s evolution.

The female caribou confirmed this by saying: “You must hold onto the eternal love, immerse yourself in love. It is the only way for you to realise your greatest potential. Gaia is clear about that and so are we. Everything that we have given each other in love transforms, grows and amplifies. We have long carried humans on our backs. Now it is time for us to carry each other. We ask humanity to give priority to all of life. “

The antlers of the female caribou framed her face like crown and I was awestruck by her majestic presence, full of grace and power. She concluded by saying, “To be embodied is the greatest gift we have ever received.”

I then witnessed an incredible scene with animals in all their glory. The were flying, running, jumping and making all sorts of spectacular synchronised movements. Their colours, textures, sounds and dynamic motions were like vibrant divine dances of pure feeling and aliveness. I sensed the tremendous love between Gaia and the animal kingdom, and how the animals have cherished the opportunity to experience physicality. They have fulfilled their Earthly destiny by becoming pure life and love in manifest expression.

These experiences had a profound effect on me and showed me that our relationship with all forms of life should never be taken for granted. There is now a fork in the road where the animals are continuing their cosmic journey independently, although their archetypes remain as a part of Earth’s innate vitality. As great partners with Gaia, the animals are deeply in tune with her on all levels- elemental, soul and cosmic. The animals’ decision to split from co-evolving with humanity has been made in cooperation with Gaia to move forward in the best possible way.

On a practical level, we do not need to cease the treasured relationships we have with animals in our lives. In essence the insights shared by the African Queen and Queen Caribou invite us to deepen our spiritual relationship with animals and to open our awareness to their role in the larger cosmic cycles.

When I asked the animal soul for permission to write this article, they gave this answer: “We wish humanity to see us for who we truly are. What bonds us is love. It has always been love and it will always be love. See how we have nurtured the Earth with our presence, great love and peace. You can do the same.”

Dear animals, thank you for all that you have done for us. I’ll try my best to do as you say: I’ll rest in the warm embrace of your archetypes. So that I can always find you within me.
